Service Features
Correction of addresses and identification of duplicates
With the option of separate or combined use, the scope of the address optimization service can be adapted to your individual needs. Detection of duplicates is available with IAC Online.
National and international
Your addresses stem from Switzerland only, or from Asia, or from all over the world? No problem - we're just as happy to clean addresses from one country as from 240 countries and/or territories.
Relocation checking for addresses in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Upon request, we can compare your database with our extensive list of relocation addresses. This service is available for addresses in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The relocation service is available with IAC Online.
Spelling, logic, format
We subject your addresses to a detailed scrutiny for all relevant criteria: Does the specified street or place exist? Is everything spelt correctly? Is any additional information needed? What specifications does the destination country lay down for the proper format of postal addresses? What print format do you need (waybills, mailings, etc.)?
Parsing
Are address components not where you would actually expect them to be in an orderly database? Our Parser sorts all address data automatically and puts them into the right fields. This means that you can send us unstructured as well as structured addresses.
7 Alphabets and all important code sign tables
If you want to process addresses from China, Israel, Greece or other countries that use a different alphabet from ours: no problem!
Abbreviations, upper/lower case and umlauts
If requested, we can standardize abbreviations (e.g. Street -> Str.), write out umlauts (ä ->ae) and adapt upper and lower case usage as required.
Success monitoring – the IAC report
A detailed log is created for every address check. You can find out exactly how many addresses had to be corrected and how good the quality of the address database is. The results are shown separately for each individual country.
